Community Workspace building
Coworking Consultant and owner of the The Conduit, an interdisciplinary society made up of individuals who believe their lives and work get better when they come alongside each other.
The Conduit started in 2011 with free-skill based workshops and songwriters showcases. In 2016 we added a one-year collaborative workspace prototype in partnership with the Florida Hospital Innovation Lab (FHIL). During that period, the The Conduit curated and housed 22 companies in a 6,000 square foot space on the campus of the Florida Hospital. These companies provide services and products in various industries, such as film, gaming, clothing and leather goods, food, events, branding, education and transportation social innovation, cause marketing, creative services, photography, and local news.
Due to the success of the prototype, my partners and I began looking for a way to scale its operations.
The project caught the attention of Ed Haddock, Co-Chairman of Full Sail University and Founder of SunGate Capital, who was actively looking for ways to connect his entrepreneurial, creative and social impact DNA with local innovators. In January 2017 the joint venture for The Conduit and SunGate Capital at SunGate Studios was born.
Today, The Conduit is an interdisciplinary coworking community made up of individuals who believe that their work and lives get better when they come alongside each other. We pride ourselves on treating people like humans and not transactions! Located in downtown Orlando, FL, The Conduit offers single-day and monthly access to desks and offices and hourly access to meeting and conference rooms.
